Professionals from Luxembourg and the UK gathered at the Caledonian Club London to discuss the challenges of talent attraction and retention in todayโ€™s increasingly competitive global landscape.

Keynote speaker Steve Duncanโ€™s study โ€œ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐–๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌโ€ highlighted Luxembourgโ€™s unique advantages for attracting skilled workers in relation to the key incentives of relocation.

Serge Weyland explained how ALFI is driving talent development in Luxembourgโ€™s fund industry through training programmes at the House of Training and a collaboration with the University of Luxembourg, aimed at developing a sustainable talent pipeline for the industry.

Laurent Peusch (Adem) discussed how Luxembourgโ€™s immigration and visa policies are adapting to the growing demand for specialised skills, and presented incoming online tools that can support these efforts.

HR experts Inigo Cabellos Mocho (Arendt) and Anne Woods (Swissquote) shared their companiesโ€™ strategies for attracting and retaining top talent in Luxembourg, highlighting the importance of social integration, work-life balance, and quality of living for long-term competitiveness.
