On 14 October 2025, the Business Club Luxembourg – United Kingdom, in partnership with the Embassy of Luxembourg in London, ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry), and The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg, hosted an exclusive cocktail reception ahead of the ALFI London Conference.

Ambassador Georges Friden welcomed leading executives from the Luxembourg and UK fund industries, underscoring the strong financial ties between the two markets. With over 1,400 participants at the ALFI London Conference, the reception highlighted the continued significance of the Luxembourg–UK partnership in the global fund sector.
