Luxembourg to allow UK lawyers to practice in grand duchy
The parliament of Luxembourg has recently approved bill 8056, which permits lawyers from the United Kingdom to practice in Luxembourg using their original professional titles. This new legislation establishes what is known as "List VII," which enables UK lawyers to register in Luxembourg and practice UK and public international law. Previously, UK lawyers were prohibited from practicing in Luxembourg. The Law Society has confirmed this positive development.
